Basketball Game Preview: Hudson Falls Tigers vs. South Glens Falls Bulldogs

The Hudson Falls Tigers will challenge the South Glens Falls Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hudson Falls' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.

Last Saturday, Hudson Falls earned a 74-63 win over Mechanicville. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Red Raiders are ranked 237th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, South Glens Falls strolled past Scotia-Glenville with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 59-45. The contest marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Hudson Falls' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for South Glens Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Hudson Falls didn't have too much breathing room in their game against South Glens Falls when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 53-47 victory.
