Caravel put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Conwell-Egan Catholic Eagles 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Buccaneers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Zayda Rocke was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Caravel's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caravel will face off against Delaware Military Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, they will challenge Little Flower Catholic for Girls at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Conwell-Egan Catholic their first taste of in-conference action this season.
