Basketball Recap: Takini Comes Up Short

Takini was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the McIntosh Tigers, falling 66-16. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-14 back in January.

Takini's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for McIntosh, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Takini will head out to take on Flandreau Indian at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
