Basketball Game Preview: South Loup vs. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs

South Loup will face off against the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Loup has five straight wins, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, South Loup was able to grind out a solid victory over Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood], taking the game 55-47.

Rohde posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, while Daake had 15 points and six boards. Preston Beattie was another key player, putting up eight points.

South Loup pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
