Baseball Preview: Meadowdale Lions vs. Belmont Bison

Gavin Bradley made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Bradley was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Belmont got a massive performance out of Carter Blankenship, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Bryce Smith was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
Meadowdale's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Belmont, their record is now 2-0.
Meadowdale beat Belmont 12-9 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
