Football Recap: Apache Junction Takes a Loss

The Apache Junction Prospectors came up short against the Highland Prep West HORNETS on Thursday and fell 14-7.

Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Highland Prep West, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Apache Junction will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Arizona Lutheran Academy at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Highland Prep West, they will take on Highland Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
