Omaha Westside extended their winning streak to 16 on Saturday, bumping them up to 23-2. They never let the Millard South Patriots get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Considering the Warriors have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Ben Weiss, who gave up just six hits to keep Millard South off the board. Weiss has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Andrew Tagge, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Hosey, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

As for Millard South, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9. The contest marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

On Millard South's side, Brody Balkovec was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk).

Looking ahead, Omaha Westside will look to defend their home field on Monday against Standing Bear at 5:00 p.m. As for Millard South, they will head out on the road to square off against Papillion-LaVista South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
