Basketball Game Preview: Christian Home Educators Knights vs. Ector Eagles

Christian Home Educators hasn't had much luck against Ector recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Christian Home Educators Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Ector Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Christian Home Educators is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1 points per game this season.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Christian Home Educators turned things around against Como-Pickton on Saturday. They walked away with a 47-34 win over the Eagles.

Christian Home Educators' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caleb Snyder led the charge by putting up ten points and seven rebounds. That's the most boards Snyder has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Hamilton, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ector). They put the hurt on Cornerstone Christian Academy with a sharp 73-48 victory on Friday.

Ector's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Christian Home Educators, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Christian Home Educators took a serious blow against Ector when the teams last played back in November of 2020, falling 87-28. Can Christian Home Educators avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
