Baseball Recap: Slater Comes Up Short on the Road Against Harrisburg

Slater kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 9-3 to the Harrisburg Bulldogs. The Wildcats have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Slater saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristen Klasing, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 4-for-4.

Slater will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Otterville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harrisburg, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will face off against Brunswick at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
