Basketball Recap: Selma Picks Up 19th Straight Win at Home

Selma had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.1 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 68-32 win over the Jemison Panthers. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 26 points or more this season.

Selma had a senior duo take command as DeShawn Flannigan went 7 of 16 on his way to 16 points and eight boards and LaDarian Brown dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Brown a new career-high in boards. Samarion Woods was another key player, putting up seven points and five steals.
