Wilcox RVT came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Wheeler Lions. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-19.

Madison Donadio paced Wilcox RVT's offense, picking up four kills. Donadio got some help from Alivia Fiorillo and her eight assists. Donadio was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wilcox RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Wheeler, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Wilcox RVT will challenge Sports & Medical Sciences Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wheeler, they will square off against Norwich RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
