Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Grayslake Central walked away with it. They walked away with a 52-43 victory over the Saint Viator Lions on Tuesday. The Rams are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Saint Viator's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Gounaris, who posted 11 points. What's more, Gounaris also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ava Garcia, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 12 boards.

Grayslake Central's win bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Saint Viator, their loss dropped their record down to 20-14.

As of now, neither Grayslake Central nor Saint Viator have any future games scheduled.
