Basketball Recap: Pleasant Valley Takes Down Dubuque Senior in a Playoff Battle

Pleasant Valley had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 75-23 victory over the Dubuque Senior Rams. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Pleasant Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.2 points over those games. Dubuque Senior is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
