Baseball Recap: Signal Mountain Takes a Loss

If Signal Mountain was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Hamilton Hurricanes on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Signal Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 14-12-1. As for East Hamilton, the victory got them back to even at 15-15.

Looking ahead, Signal Mountain will face off against Chattanooga Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Pounders at the right time seeing as the Pounders are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for East Hamilton, they will square off against Lookout Valley at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
