Softball Game Preview: Osage Green Devils vs. St. Ansgar Saints

The Osage Green Devils will square off against the St. Ansgar Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Osage has six straight wins, St. Ansgar has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Wednesday, Osage made easy work of Central Springs and carried off a 15-5 victory. The Green Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, St. Ansgar came up short against Algona on Thursday and fell 5-2.

Osage's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for St. Ansgar, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Everything went Osage's way against St. Ansgar in their previous matchup back in May, as Osage made off with a 21-0 victory. Will the Green Devils repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
