Softball Game Preview: Marion County Red Raiders vs. Berry Wildcats

The Marion County Red Raiders will face off against the Berry Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Marion County came up short against Hubbertville and fell 7-4. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Berry not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3rd. Everything went their way against Hubbertville as they made off with a 9-1 win.

The victory got Berry back to even at 15-15. As for Marion County, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-12.

Marion County couldn't quite get it done against Berry in their previous matchup on Saturday as they fell 6-3. Can the Red Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
