Softball Game Preview: Rogers Pirates vs. Lexington Golden Bears

The Rogers Pirates will venture away from home to challenge the Lexington Golden Bears at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rogers has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 18.

On Tuesday, Rogers came up short against Hatton and fell 7-3.

Meanwhile, Lexington lost 13-3 to Lindsay Lane Christian Academy on Tuesday.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Rogers took their victory against Lexington when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
