Soccer Game Preview: Angleton vs. Brazoswood

The Angleton Wildcats will square off against the Brazoswood Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Angleton has given up an average of 2.6 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Angleton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 8-1 to Waxahachie. The loss was Angleton's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Brazoswood entered their tilt with Mayde Creek on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering Brazoswood have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Nick Guerra and Brady Faulkner scored all four of Brazoswood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Angleton fell to 3-1-1. As for Brazoswood, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1-1.
