Mascoutah waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Granite City Warriors with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Mascoutah's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Granite City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Mascoutah will welcome Rochester at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Granite City, they will take on Jersey at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
