It was a good run, but City College unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 70-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Largo Lions. The Black Knights were probably out for revenge after losing 65-56 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

City College's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4. As for Largo, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

When City College and Largo next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. City College will try to stop Poly's four-game winning streak when the meet on Thursday. Meanwhile, Largo will take on Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North and their eight-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
