Doyline is a perfect 10-0 against Castor since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Doyline Panthers challenge Castor Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Meanwhile, Castor fell victim to Weston and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Wolves. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost nine in a row.

Doyline has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Castor, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Everything went Doyline's way against Castor when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Doyline made off with a 12-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
