Baseball Recap: Rock Ridge Takes a Loss

Rock Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 6-1 to the Handley Judges. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Phoenix of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Rock Ridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nikhil Middha, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Rock Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Handley, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

Coming up, Rock Ridge will square off against Justice at 6:30 p.m. on March 26th. As for Handley, they will face off against Kettle Run at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
