Volleyball Recap: Langley Saxons vs. West Springfield Spartans

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Langley had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the West Springfield Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saxons.

The victory didn't come easy: West Springfield scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 28-26, 25-22.

West Springfield's loss came despite strong showings from Anna Dierks and Audrey Busch. Dierks had 34 assists, while Busch had nine digs. Dierks has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 17 times she's played.
