Volleyball Game Preview: Paideia Pythons vs. Druid Hills Red Devils

The Paideia Pythons will head out on the road to challenge the Druid Hills Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Paideia will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Galloway, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Pythons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Scots on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Druid Hills waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0.

Paideia better focus on containing Kassidy Manning and Sophia Florence as the pair were huge in Druid Hills' win. Manning had 11 assists and two aces, while Florence had five aces and two assists. Florence is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Druid Hills was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive matches.

Paideia's record is now 4-9. As for Druid Hills, their record now sits at 30-6.
