Hagerstown is 9-1 against Centerville since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Hagerstown earned a 3-1 win over Union County.

Hagerstown was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 13-25, 26-24, 25-10.

Hagerstown's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hallie Pruitt, who had 16 digs. Another player making a difference was Lilly Catey, who had 11 digs.

Meanwhile, Centerville came into Tuesday's match having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Cambridge City Lincoln on Tuesday. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3rd (when they won 3-0).

While Centerville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-19.

Hagerstown's win bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Centerville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-16.

Hagerstown took their win against Centerville in their previous matchup on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
