Baseball Recap: Keystone Heights' Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Keystone Heights can now relate to. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Snyder Cardinals on Monday. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in March of 2021.

Keystone Heights saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Keystone Heights' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-8. As for Bishop Snyder, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

While Keystone Heights had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
