Notes:
- No. 2 Bellarmine extended its winning streak to eight with with a 3-0 showing in winning its Cunningham Easter Classic, including a 1-0 win over No. 7 Monte Vista in eight innings. Bellarmine also won the NorCal version of the Boras Baseball Classic.
- No. 4 Foothill is in first place in the rugged East Bay Athletic League after beating San Ramon Valley (Danville) 2-1 and Monte Vista 1-0 in nine innings.
- Darby Tatum improved to 9-1 for No. 3 Clovis, nearly half his team's victory total, after beating Clovis North (Fresno) 2-0.
- No. 5 Franklin has won 10 consecutive games, a school record, and is ranked No. 1 by the Sacramento Bee for just the second time in the 13-year history of the program, thanks to a lot of non-senior pitchers. Franklin swept two-time defending Sac-Joaquin Section Division I champion Elk Grove for the first time.
- No. 10 Granite Bay bounced back into these rankings after beating previous Sacramento Bee No. 1 Davis and current Bee No. 2 Oak Ridge 7-2 as Matthew Voelker II struck out seven in beating Oak Ridge ace Trenton Denholm, who also struck out seven.
- No. 11 Gregori have relied on defense and pitching to its school-record best start with Matt Dallas a big reason as the 6-0 ace.
