Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for Intermountain Christian

Intermountain Christian won the last time they faced St. Joseph and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Intermountain Christian Lions secured a 38-32 W over the St. Joseph Jayhawks.

Intermountain Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bella DuBois led the charge by going 5 of 7 on her way to 10 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elaine Lunsford, who posted five points in addition to nine rebounds and four steals.

Intermountain Christian pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for St. Joseph, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Intermountain Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-31 loss against Manila on the 6th. As for St. Joseph, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-29 defeat against Rich on the 6th.
