Football Recap: Perry Hand and Richard Scott Secure Win for UMS-Wright Prep + How To Watch

After losing to T.R. Miller the last time they met, UMS-Wright Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 29-6 win on Friday.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Richard Scott and Perry Hand. Scott gained 136 total yards and two touchdowns while Hand rushed for 71 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. That's the most rushing yards Hand has posted since back in October of 2024.

UMS-Wright Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to UMS-Wright Prep's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Bennett Roe, Luke Aran, and John Ellis Pritchard, who each picked up one sack apiece.
