Basketball Recap: Lee County Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Lee County had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Buckhorn Wildcats by a score of 46-37. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-23 back in January.

Lee County pushed their record up to 11-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Buckhorn, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Williamsburg at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Buckhorn, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge East Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
