After a string of three wins, Southwest's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tioga Bulldogs.

Tioga can attribute much of their success to Kenzee Powers, who had 12 digs and one assist. That assist marked the first that Powers has posted this season.

Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3-1. As for Tioga, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-3-2.

Looking ahead, Southwest will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake Worth at 6:30 p.m. As for Tioga, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Mineral Wells on the 23rd.
