 Shelbyville Central owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers by a score of  4-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Shelbyville Central.
  Carston Williams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just zero earned runs on one hit and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Nick Hopper and  Stephen Bobo did most of the damage at the plate:  Hopper  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances, while  Bobo  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Hopper is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played.
 Shelbyville Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record  this season. As for Warren County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shelbyville Central will  face off against Cleveland at 12:45  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Warren County, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Cumberland County at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Warren County is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
