Soccer Recap: University Comes Up Short

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of The Linsly School. That's two games in a row now that University have lost by just one goal.

University's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for The Linsly School, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University will welcome Preston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for The Linsly School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
