Basketball Recap: Navarro Skates Past Blanco with Ease

Navarro had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 36-point drubbing they dealt Blanco on Friday. The Navarro Panthers blew past the Blanco Panthers 54-18. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for Navarro this season.

Tegan Harborth continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 5 of 8 on her way to 19 points and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Navarro's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalista Scott, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 12 points.

Blanco's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ashton Uballe, who posted eight points along with seven boards and three steals, and Ava Silva, who had six points. What's more, Silva also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in January.

Navarro has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Blanco, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
