Volleyball Recap: University City Comes Up Short

University City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lutheran North Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lutheran North scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18.

University City's loss dropped their record down to 7-14-3. As for Lutheran North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

University City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against KIPP on the 11th. As for Lutheran North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Ritenour on the 11th.
