Volleyball Recap: Corvian Community Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Corvian Community lost against Christ the King on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Crusaders, falling 3-0. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Corvian Community saw an underclassman step up: freshman Macia Newell had 14 assists and four digs.

Corvian Community's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Christ the King, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-9 record.

Corvian Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Piedmont Community Charter on the 1st. As for Christ the King, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Community School of Davidson on the 2nd.
