Volleyball Recap: Williamsburg Academy Comes Up Short

Williamsburg Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-6, 25-19.

Williamsburg Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Pee Dee Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Williamsburg Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Dillon Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pee Dee Academy will challenge rival Florence Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
