Arvin hasn't had much luck against Ridgeview recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Arvin Bears are taking a road trip to square off against the Ridgeview Wolf Pack at 4:00 p.m. Arvin will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Arvin's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Delano as Arvin made off with an 8-0 victory. Considering the Bears have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Roy Rosales made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero hits, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing Four bases. while going 4-for-4. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.4 stolen bases per game.

In other batting news, Jaime Pantoja was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Daniel Ramirez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Ridgeview's offense. They came up short against St. Joseph on Saturday, falling 7-0. The Wolf Pack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arvin pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Ridgeview, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
