Preview: Hanks Knights vs. Parkland Matadors

Hanks is 8-2 against Parkland since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hanks Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Parkland Matadors at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hanks has nine straight wins, Parkland has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Hanks put the finishing touches on their 13th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 57-27 victory over Del Valle. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Hanks has posted since December 8, 2023.

Hanks got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anette Hernandez out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Hernandez hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 17 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Moore, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Parkland lost to Del Valle at home by a decisive 38-19 margin on Tuesday.

Hanks has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Parkland, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Hanks took their win against Parkland in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 58-37. Will Hanks repeat their success, or does Parkland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
