Football Recap: Mossyrock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mossyrock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 26-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warden Cougars. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Despite the loss, Mossyrock still got an impressive performance from Gunnar Callies, who rushed for 68 yards and one TD on only eight carries.

Mossyrock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Warden, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Mossyrock will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vashon Island at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Warden, they will take on Tonasket at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
