Volleyball Game Preview: Freeman Falcons vs. Yutan Chieftains

The Freeman Falcons will take on the Yutan Chieftains at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Freeman will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Freeman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Thayer Central by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Yutan sidestepped Johnson County Central for a 3-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Chieftains in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won six in a row.

Freeman's record now sits at 27-4. As for Yutan, their record is now 22-7.

Freeman couldn't quite get it done against Yutan in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
