Soccer Game Preview: Tyrone vs. Bellefonte

The Tyrone Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Bellefonte Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Tyrone had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Bald Eagle Area on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Bellefonte waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Bearcats 5-1. Brooke Whitman was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Tyrone's victory bumped their record up to 3-6-1. As for Bellefonte, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Tyrone came up short against Bellefonte when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 4-2. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
