South Fort Myers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lemon Bay Manta Rays, sneaking past 1-0. The Wolfpack wouldn't have won without Marcos Galvis, who scored the game-winner.

South Fort Myers was without their leading scorer, Donovan Perez-Cornel, in Friday's game. With Perez-Cornel sidelined, South Fort Myers had to make some changes to the lineup. And. Galvis made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

South Fort Myers has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those seven matches. As for Lemon Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
