Baseball Recap: Parkway West Comes Up Short

Parkway West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rockwood Summit Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Parkway West's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Rockwood Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Parkway West has already played their next game (against Howell North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rockwood Summit, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against St. Louis University on the 14th.
