Baseball Recap: Clearfield Takes a Loss

Clearfield managed to slip by Somerset the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bison lost 16-1 to the Eagles on Friday. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Clearfield is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Somerset, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

When Clearfield and Somerset next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Bison will try to stop Huntingdon's five-game winning streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Somerset will challenge Central Cambria and their four-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.2, the Red Devils 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
