Baseball Recap: Kingstree Takes a Loss

Kingstree was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Lake City Panthers.

Travis Bennett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one triple.

Kingstree's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Kingstree will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Manning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake City, they will head out to take on Mullins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
