Soccer Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall was the 2-1 winner over Brennan when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Marshall Rams fell just short of the Brennan Bears by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Bears are ranked 196th).

Marshall has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Brennan and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall will face off against O'Connor at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brennan, they will square off against Stevens at 5:00 p.m. on March 5th.
