Volleyball Recap: Decatur Community's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Decatur Community waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the St. Francis Indians by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Tuesday.

Decatur Community easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10.

Brylee Minnick paced Decatur Community's offense, picking up 12 kills. Minnick were helped by Lauren May and Jori Fortin, who contributed nine assists each.

Decatur Community now has a winning record of 11-10. As for St. Francis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19-2 record this season.
