Softball Recap: Klahowya Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Klahowya ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top against Cedar Park Christian by a score of 12-8. The win was nothing new for Klahowya as they're now sitting on three straight.

Brooklyn Hart made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run and three runs.

In other batting news, Sydney Washington was excellent, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Aubrey Scholl also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Klahowya's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cedar Park Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

As of now, neither Klahowya nor Cedar Park Christian have any future games scheduled.
