Football Recap: Hillside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

While it was Hillside who put the first points on the board on Saturday, it was Carteret who put up more. The Comets took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ramblers. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ramblers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Hillside's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Carteret, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Hillside will square off against Voorhees at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carteret, they will face off against Linden on Friday.
